Hello everybody,
I am Mark Corbin, my friends and I are planning a vacation trip in Australia by this December. We are 5 traveling together. We would to know what are the best places to travel in Australia and anyone could give any suggestion or any. We hoping to see what was like living in Australian, to understand the culture and history. In addition we would to check the tour destination like beaches, national park or any amenities that we could be relaxing. Also, we need advice regarding the camper vans we seen in this website
because we kinda like to travel together on our own. We are hoping for your recommendations and suggestion, it would be a great help.
Thanks,
Mark Reply to this hi Mark123,
I've spent a fair bit of time in Tasmania - my favourite spots were Cradle Mountain National Park and Freycinet National Park, but there's plenty more worth seeing. If you want to see historical places I can recommend the Port Arthur penal settlement.
Feel free to check out my Tasmania photos and ask any questions on those places.
If you're hiring a camper van you could come over Bass Strait from/to Melbourne and pick up/drop off the van either side probably. Have a great trip!
Reply to this Dont forget to visit Queensland... Barrier reef, Cairns, Uluru, Gold Coast, Brisbane... Enjoy your trip!
Reply to this The best destinations in Oz are mainly on the East Coast. Cairns, Whitsundays, Fraser Island, Byron Bay etc. You're best bet for buying a campervan would be to wait til you get here and they are everywhere. You can go into a dealership or check out the notice boards in Hostels; if you're in Cairns or Sydney- the top and bottom of the East Coast, you will get them cheaper as travellers go home and need to sell their vans. If they are in a hurry to sell you can get them really cheap. I'm in Byron Bay at the moment and the weather is amazing
Reply to this Hi, the east coast and Tropical North Queensland in general are a must. The Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, the islands, etc, are fantastic and cannot be missed. Let me know if you need more help,
Cheers,
MarĂa
Reply to this I have to jump in and also recommend Queensland. There's nothing in this world like the Great Barrier Reef if you're a diver or snorkeler and the rain forest comes right down to the water's edge. Be aware of jelly fish season (we hit it in Feb) but even then it's worth seeing.
