suggestion for a family trip

Need suggestion on a 4-5 days family trip to Egypt at the end of December for 7 people from various age groups: my parents and in-laws (all over 60 years old), my husband, me and my 10 year old son.

Hello,
I am planning a 4-5 days family trip to Egypt at the end of December. We will be 7 people from various age groups: my parents and in-laws (4 adults over 60 years old--cannot walk too much), my husband, me and my 10 year old son (who loves pyramids, Indiana Jones movies, and the like). Any suggestions on where to stay and what to see? Thanks. Reply to this

Hi Hulya,

I suggest to make your trip between Cairo and Sinai. In Cairo you will enjoy the culture, the history and the ancient civilization as there are several places to see: Pharaonic, Islamic, Coptic, Jewish and moderen ones.
The major places of Cairo can be covered in 2 full day tours or 4 half day tours. These Places are:

- Giza Pyramids & Sphinx
- The Egyptian Museum
- Saqarra
- Memphis
- The Citadel & Mohamed Ali Mosque
- Khan El Khalili Bazaar
- Coptic Cairo

And in Sinai you will have a good chance to relax on the wonderful beaches of Sinai. The best city to visit in Sinia is Sharm El Shiekh.
