Just looking for an idea of how much my bf and I should budget per day (in Euro), we are visiting Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands and Great Brittian. Our flights are booked and paid for. We fly into Greece, make our own way to London and fly out 3 months later. We want to make the most of this experience and dont mind really roughing it!

Just looking for an idea of how much my bf and I (both 21yrs old) should budget per day (in Euro). We are visiting Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands and England beginning the end of August 07. Our flights are booked and paid for. We fly into Greece, make our own way to London and fly out 3 months later. We want to make the most of this experience and dont mind really roughing it! Our plan so far is this:
In order of travel around:
Greece: 4 weeks (1 night Athens, 10 days ish Crete, Mykonos, Ios, Santorini and Zakynthos)
Italy: 1.5 weeks
France: 1.5 weeks
Germany: 1.5 weeks
The Netherlands: .5 weeks
Great Brittian: 3 weeks
Also we were wondering what sort of travel is the least expensive to get around once we are in the country i.e. between Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice.
Ps. We want to stay in hostels or backpackers and eat from markets and deli style places... Reply to this

The budget depends much from the kind of accomodation you want, for example room is very expensive for accomodation in hotel.In great cities like room consider a minimum price of 70-80 per person in 3 stars hotels. Hi, have a look to this site there are a lot of cheap youth hostels, b&b in all the countries that you would like to visit and you can download for free a lot of cities guide!!!! Reply to this
