With the proper adaptor, will it work ? And is it safe to use it in North America ? Thanks, a great day to you all ! I lived in the UK for awhile and purchased a lot of appliances that I ended up just giving to friends before I moved back to the US. As to the electricity issue, you may be able to get away with just getting a plug adapter. If you look at the straightener itself, it should have indicated somewhere on it what voltage it will work with (e.g. it might say 110/240V which would mean that it will work without a voltage converter in either country). Many electrical appliances like (hair dryers and computers) will work across both voltage platforms without a converter if you have the proper plug adapter. | Hope that helps!
