Clothing stolen. Bizarre but true.

We had 2 clothing items stolen from our hotel room at Hotel Park Hesperia Troya, Playa de las Ameircas, Tenerife, Spain, Canary Islands at the end of March this year, 2007. The hotel manager just shrugged his shoulders, the guy at the main office on mainland Spain simply answered that their employees do not steal. (I guess we are just lying for the fun and time of it.) Star Tour is useless too by the way. Somehow we are suppose to report the theft to their representatives there on the island and not take direct contact with the hotel mamagement itself. Of course it can be difficult to report when you plane is leaving early in the morning after the evening you discover the clothes are missing; in the case of one item we didn't realize it was missing until we got home. We were too busy trying to recover my stolen skirt, which was a part of my outfit for my 25th Wedding anniversay dinner that evening!!!!!

If you find yourself staying at this hotel chain, make sure you not only get a safe for your money and passports, but one for your clothing too!
