Hi I am going to Sharm in July with my family (2 adults 2 kids). We are going to do the pyramid tour in Cairo we are booking our flight via egyptair and would like any information on booking a tour guide for the day

Actually, your biggest problem will be limiting yourself to only ONE tour guide. As soon as you step off the bus at Giza, you will be surrounded and followed by people wanting to be your guide. And they'll also make sure you've got a camel. Can't get by without a camel. "You want Camel???"
If somehow you manage to shake this crowd of followers and escape to some remote corner of the site to enjoy the view. Lay low! I made the mistake of sitting in plain sight. In the distance, a man appeared, waved enthusiastically and sprinted off. A minute later he came back with a Camel.
In short, you don't really need to book ahead!
