As soon as you step off the bus at Giza, you will be surrounded and followed by people wanting to be your guide. And they'll also make sure you've got a camel. Can't get by without a camel. "You want Camel???" | If somehow you manage to shake this crowd of followers and escape to some remote corner of the site to enjoy the view. Lay low! I made the mistake of sitting in plain sight. In the distance, a man appeared, waved enthusiastically and sprinted off. A minute later he came back with a Camel. In short, you don't really need to book ahead!
