Hi

I\'m going to be visiting Fez in a week and really want to visit a Hammam - but I\'m a little bit afraid - does anyone have any good tips or are there any tour companies that can arrange trips for you?

Thanks!! Reply to this

There are loads - your local hotel/pension, or (official/unofficial) guide will be able to point you in the right direction. I was there in September, and the guy who ran our pension told us about one where women are allowed on certain days, and men the remaining time. Fez was a fab place to check out; climb the hill above the Medina (I think it is an old military museum up there) and you will get an amazing view of the medina and surrounding area. Reply to this

I am not sure about the booking. Maybe the hotel personnel can arrange that for you. But hammam resorts in Fez are pretty nice and safe. I have been several times now and I love the traditional bath. Reply to this
