Flying Paris to Athens after entering Paris on EU passport
10 years ago, August 29th 2013 No: 1 Msg: #174549
Small concern I have, I booked a flight from Paris to Athens under the name on my Australian passport. I am first coming into France from China, and I intend to enter France on my Greek passport. I want to make sure it won't cause any hassles flying the Paris to Athens route on my Australian passport, since it won't be the one I used to enter the EU.

My first name on the Australian and Greek passports are different. Very different. Reply to this

Hi and welcome to Greece,
I don't believe this will cause a problem. The airline will only want to check a) name is same on ticket and passport b) you are eligible to enter the destination country. They won't check how you entered Europe. You can always show the other passport in case there are any problems. I have the same problem with double passports in latin and Greek with different name - what a mess it is! Reply to this
