Reply to this EDM songs tend to be released as singles only, so I end up listening to live DJ set recordings instead of albums as such. A surprising number get released as podcasts and videos. Here's my current favorite, the Swedish House Mafia (who split up last year 😞)

Lie down on the sofa. Close your eyes. Relax. Think of Spain. And listen to this track from the debut album of one of today's finest classical guitarists - a young man from Montenegro named Milos Karadaglic.
The album's called 'The Guitar' - it was a Father's Day gift from my daughter. This track is 'Recuerdos de la Alhambra' written by that father of the modern Spanish guitar, Francisco Tarrega. When the music stops, Milos himself explains how the piece is played using his fingers for the melody and his thumb for the bass.
Enjoy.

A special track Mike. Special to me...here's why.
During Denise's and my engagement to marry...over 30 years ago...we holidayed at Nana Glen (inland from Coffs Harbour in New South Wales)with a mate. The other occupant of the house was a young guy with partial vision who was technically blind...I think his name was Robbie. He was bitter that Social Security had declared him fit only for basket weaving...when he said he could play guitar.
We pressed him to play for us...he reluctant...but we pushed and I think our mate brought the guitar out to him...he took his guitar...and played that track...brilliantly. It was mesmerising...hypnotic...the passion dripped from the rafters.
When he finished I said "That's by Tarrega...I have never heard it better"...and he wept...I think the rest of us did too.

To avoid all election nonsense, have been listening to JJJ top 100 CD just released. Although there are only 40 songs but are enjoying them nonetheless.

Avoiding election nonsense...no better reason to embrace JJJ Top 100.
I've been furthering my JONNY LANG appreciation with his "LONG TIME COMING" CD this week...everything I hear from that guy is brilliant.
His "TURN AROUND" CD featured above and from "LIE TO ME" in the Blues in my System thread.
Reply to this Love your selection...added to my playlist.
Now election nonsense is over...
Will now search out some new material.
