Hi Everyone
I am planning our honeymoon in Mexico and Guatemala and would love some tips from people who have been there before.
We have 4 weeks in total and fly in and out of Cancun on 1st September to end September.
Places we want to include are The Yucatan in Mexico (Isla Mujeres, Tulum, Playa etc. ) and Antigua, Lake Atitlan and Tikal in Guatemala.
What is the best way to travel from Cancun to Guatemala and back, taking in all the best sites and places on the way?
Do we need to fly or is there decent public transport, and how long does it take to drive from Cancun to Antigua?
Also, can anyone recommend good honeymoon style accommodation in any of those places? Doesn't have to be most expensive but just cute, quaint and luxurious.
