Mountain Biking, now that would be a relaxed place to watch an Olympic Sport. I don't think we've had any athletics yet - which would give us 20. I'm sure somebody must have seen the marathon!
PS: Yes, we have had athletics!

Olympic stay-cation - this blog details Kylie C seeing the final rehearsal for the Opening, Gymnastics (not a sport but still worth mentioning), Fencing, Beach Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics, Weightlifting, Taekwando, Boxing and Volleyball.
This adds another five sports, which should take our tally to 24, but I think I'll double counted somewhere and we are only 23 - this is because of the 36 sports, there are 13 not reported. These are: Archery, Badminton, Canoe-Sprint, Cycling-Track, Gymnastics-Rhythmic, Judo, Modern Pentathlon, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Synchronised Swimming, Trampoline and Wrestling.
This is more than we had in Beijing. I attended 12 sports and the Opening, but there weren't as many Travelblog members blogging at those Games - I do recall someone else attending Beach Volleyball and Basketball, but not much else. Tickets (and visas) were very hard to obtain due to hundreds of millions of people who put in ticket requests. Reply to this
