Traveling to New York City next month and i am looking for any tips or suggestions on the best camera shops with good prices. Any names or web links much appreciated

Hello Harley and welcome to Travelblog!

I've shopped a few times with B&H Photo, Video and Pro-Video online from Australia and have been impressed with their prices and service. I know that they have a Superstore in NYC.

This forum does not allow links to be dropped here, but their site is easy to find - just put "B&H Photo" in a search engine and they'll appear at the top or very near to it.

We have used two:

J & R Photo and also B & H photo. Both gave good prices and customer service.

They will pop up quickly when you google them.
