TravelBlog and Famous Landmarks

Photos of TravelBlog where TravelBloggers go...
B Posts: 8,454
TravelBloggers spend a fair bit of time both on the TravelBlog site, and travelling - often visiting famous landmarks on the way.
Let's see if we can come up with some photos of the TB homepage alongside some of those well known sites - get your netbook or smartphone and your camera out, and post the result here.
Or if your office window looks out toward a famous landmark, great!
Here's an easy one to get things going...

Here is TravelBlog viewing the TV tower in Kuala Lumpur. It was not convenient to put the TravelBlog HomePage in the photo with the TV tower view, so we put Ali there instead. :)

Wow! For the first time ever, I have managed to spot one of my photos featured on the Front Page. It probably got there, thanks to this thread. Maybe others of my photos were also featured, but I was not looking at the time they were.
This photo was taken with Alis camera, by Sundar, who used to work at TravelBlog towers. Thanks Sundar! :)
Here is the photo.

Can the famous poo coffee be a landmark? Maybe not, but since Nick is using poetic licence, I will too. ;)
Look carefully at the pieces of paper near the poo coffee, and you will see TravelBlog, or at least TB. :)

No. 1 blogger...Ali himself is making a "famous sign" with his fingers in this photo...not yet shared with TBers in any of the blogs of TB's 10th B'Day...adds a new dimension to this pic if you can see it.

No matter how closely I look, he does not seem to me to have managed to twist his fingers or body into the shape of TB. According to my boyfriend, Ali is making a Buddist sign in this photo. To me, he just looks sinister.
Here is a pic of TravelBlog, with the famous TravelBlog towers interior in the background. :)

It looks to me as though Ali is a fellow trekkie and has surreptitiously misappropriated the Vulcan 'Live long and prosper' greeting from Star Trek ;) Reply to this

Not even close Mel.
As I said...adds a new dimension to this photo if you can see it.
A clue...Star...and Travel...definitely playful Enterprise from Ali!
