It is finally back, no more queuing at the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok. Due to the easing of financial restrictions, online payments are now available again.

Still early days, but a very positive sign for those wishing to visit the country. Perhaps this is the first stage of financial changes that will eventually mean that visitors will no longer need to carry large sums of clean US dollars in hard currency.
