Buses from Mexico City to Oaxaca

Looking for transport options between Mexico City and Oaxaca

Hi there fellow Travelbloggers -
I'm trying to determine the best (read: cheapest yet comfortable) way to get from Mexico City to Oaxaca. A direct flight would be ideal, but is nearly twice the price of an international ticket to Mexico City.
I know there are several bus lines that operate that route, but don\'t know much about them or about getting to the TAPO bus station (last time I took a bus out of Mexico City I used Estrella Roja to Puebla but that terminal was located within the airport. Looks like buses departing to Oaxaca originate from elsewhere).
If anyone has any experience or recommendations I'd be grateful for it! Thanks!
