Really look forward to seeing your blogs from your African journey Brian, as this is the same route I wish to undertake within the next two years. Reply to this

thedribbleman will ensure we beat it. His travels early last year included: Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, The Gambia, Mauritania and also Western Sahara (but he didn't write a specific blog about this last one but he must have gone through it as he travelled by land from Morocco to Mauritania). None of these have been mentioned so far.

Sorry for the delayed response. Squinting at the map, I don't think you've yet got Bhutan on there, but I went in May 2011. The other countries I visited, Nicaragua, Panama, India and Australia all seem to have been clocked up already. Reply to this

We travelled to: Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Germany, and around our home country Switzerland... Not remote countries. Anyway, 2012 looks much better. We are already planning some interesting things. Reply to this

Yes, thanks for posting your 'collection' Drew - we're now 10 countries up on last year's total (still room for more!)
