The migration usually stays around the northern eco-system until October, when they will start moving east and then south.

Safari guest should be prepared to get wet at this time of year. But, in return, visitors will be rewarded with some of the most stunning and spectacular scenery and game viewing Reply to this

Hello Jonathan 😊

The Maasai Mara National Reserve (also spelled Masai Mara and known by the locals as 'the Mara') is a large game reserve in south-western Kenya...It is famous for its exceptional population of Big Cats, game, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest from the Serengeti every year from July to October, a migration so immense that it is called the Great Migration.

Maybe we can follow the migration and enjoy the scenery virtually by posting photos of it on this thread and blogs by TravelBlog members who are there.

Hello,
If you are planning to climb Mount Kenya,I can recommend the services of Gakiri and Trekking Mount Kenya www.trekkingmountkenya.com
I climbed Mount Kenya in July 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed my holiday. In fact I think I spent about 10 days in Kenya and I asked for suggestions about how to spend the rest of the time. He arranged several short trips to safari parks and mountain climbing and other sightseeing activities. Really he thought of everything so that I got a great deal from the trip in many ways and saw something significant of the country. And the price was extremely reasonable.
The actual climb was perfect! It was specially arranged for me so that I could enjoy it to the full! And I think the arrangements were also very flexible and tailor-made to suit the customer! I would have no hesitation in using his services again!

Regards,
Anna Houston
