Canberra is a beautiful city, and the weather will be cooling down in April, hope you can make it here, though we will do our best to try to make it to another suitable location to support Travel blogs 10th Anniversary.

Reply to this Brisbane doesn't usually get a lot of interest for the Christmas get-togethers each year, but I do think the east coast somewhere is going to be the best option.

As it is the Tuesday before Easter, and some of us work or might find Tuesday difficult, it may be more convenient on a weekend before or after 4 April 2012, if that is OK by Travelblog.
I think it's a great idea to meet others in the Travelblog community...especially at a great locale.
I would also like contact with others on the East Coast, ACT etc as some of us might be prepared to travel to meet up.
Let me know what you would like me to do...and lets make it happen..!

The details are largely up to you - whichever weekend is going to allow the greater number of people to attend. Exact date isn't so important (The Asia meetup is on the 8th).
I'll add you as the contact so people know who to get in touch with. Keep an eye on this thread, as people may also just post here if interested.

Reply to this oh damn, i'm in perth but heading to Cairns on Good Friday (the 9th) for a week - but both locations are very out of the way for others. Its a bit difficult to add another destination for the whole family only 1 week before but if you have it in sydney or melb i might be able to tee up work sending me there and i stay for the weekend? I'll keep an eye on the thread and see if a location is decided
