Hi bloggers,

We are a young couple in our 20's travelling around Australia, starting in Melbourne lat February 2011, and working our way up the east coast to QLD, then through the middle to Darwin and down the west coast. Is there anyone doing the same thing on the same route at the same time? It would be great to catch up in various places!

We\'re also travelling with our 3 year old maltese, Maxibon, so any travel tips for travelling with dogs would be greatly appreciated!

I\'m a beautician and in the caravan parks we stay at, I will be offering cheap manicures and pedicures, and I mean cheap! My partener is an electrician and is willing and able to do electrical jobs on vans or houses! So keep track of our travels if you\'re heading the same way and maybe we can help you out?

Hope to see you on the road!! Reply to this

Have a great time - hope you don't miss out on the Red centre entirely... Just remember when camping in National Parks you can't take dogs - this includes day trips. We saw a few travelers who couldn't go into certain areas because they forgot about the dog rule. Have a wonderful time - wish it was us (again)... Reply to this

When you hit Perth - msg me and Maxibon is welcome to meet up with the boxer gang to have a playdate while I get a pedicure and your partner does some electrical work for us - paid of course - and be lovely to meet fellow travellers. Were old but fun ;) Reply to this

Hi Guys, I have been travelling with my 2 wonderful dogs since August last year, starting around Cairns and now in Melbourne. I have started a website about travelling with the dogs. I post great places to go with the dogs. There are heaps of places where the dogs can just be dogs and I can relax and enjoy them. www.traveldogsaustralia.com is for everyone to share. So if you find some really good places, can you share it with other travellers, please! Have a ball! I reckon you will. We are. Reply to this
