Is London ideal for Valentines Day?
N Posts: 11
Hi Friends
My boyfriend believes that London will be fun to visit during Valentines. However, I doubt. Please suggest something nice to do this Valentines. Really excited as this is our first Valentines together. Will London suit us?

Valentine is not about places, it's about two individuals who love each other....Valentine is may be a day where we plan to have more romance thrown in it. But honestly, I hate all the commercial aspect of it...Valentine at home is great...or where ever for that fact....but London have a lot's of great places too!

London is busy all the time & it is 10 times worse on valentines day, you have to book a restaurant way in advance & the price is pumped up because of valentines day. Any city can be romantic, try to look for something a little different that may not be as busy, maybe a dinner cruise along the Thames?
I'd suggest a restaurant near St Pauls, it is the business district & isn't a residential area, many people will leave work early to celebrate with their partners out of the city so it will be very quiet & a walk around St Pauls Cathedral & the many sights of the city will have less people & could be very romantic having the city of London to yourself. Venice Carnaval!!!!!!
London is great and always crowded but I think Venice Carnaval period is probably the best time of the year to visit this place.

London is always fun! Chris is right that there are some great restaurants near St. Paul's and it is beautiful at night.
My advice is to make reservations because places will be busy.
