Any suggestions for the Greek Islands?

I am taking a group to the Greek Islands next summer (hopefully sailing) and would love to hear from people as to suggestions.

I would suggest you that Samos is a great Island.
I rented an apartment from athensrents.com..Nothing to do with Samos Island but it was like only 3 meters away from the sea..It was perfect..I really recommend it..
Check google also for some Samos pics,its a not a very popular island and thats what its making more fascinating..

Samos is awesome. I didn't get a chance to go, but its supposed to have some great hiking and nature reserves. Its also close to Kusadasi, the closest Turkish port which is only an hour away. From there, you can also check out Ephesus and ancient sites if you're into the historical/classic aspect.
As for islands themselves, Crete is pretty good. Definitely touristy and caters to european package tourists but there are places to get away from the hordes. Santorini is fabulous - its scenic value and volcano is well worth braving the tourist hordes for as well. Reply to this
