Gorillas in the mist

Is it best to organise a trip to the gorillas before we leave or is it easy to do it on arrival ? where have people had the best experiences Rwanda, Uganda , Congo ?

We dont have much time when we arrive and i would hate to miss out on the Gorillas is it safe & easy to organise a trip to the gorillas when we arrive ? Reply to this

The answer is that it is both safe and easy to book a trip to the gorillas when you arrive - I did it in Rwanda, ( see my blog). There is a tourism office in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. You can book your slot in the park in Kigali. You have more chance of seeing gorrilas in Rwanda than Uganda. The Congo is still very unstable - if you are worried about safety I would avoid unless the situation in the Congo improves. I would suggest you just keep an eye on the news when you are in Africa. Uganda is an incredible experience, it is though recommended to book from home to ensure a ticket to see the Gorillas.
