I was just wondering which blogger has visited the largest number of countries....
LOL Mikey.
I started travelling around 20 years ago, so I suppose that is how I managed to visit 40 countries and some of them more than once. But I did not go to every nook and crany of them. In some I only went to one city. In others I travelled quite extensively.
But I often look at the countries I have not been to yet and hope I will remain able bodied all my life and live for a long time to hopefully see them all.

Reply to this I have only been to 15 so far. I am just 21 what can i say, I keep revisiting the same countries, but I still have quite a few ahead of me
Reply to this I am at about 15 including northern Cyprus where I am rite now. My next destination will be Dubai
Reply to this I've visited 90 "territories" as defined by travelblog, over the last 30 years. Many of them more than once. Actually it's probably a few more than that if you consider East Germany and Macau and Hong Kong and the Vatican, Puerto Rico etc. All of you will probably exceed me by the time you're my age. There's actually a "over one hundred countries" club but I've met a few of those people and I wouldn't want to join their kind even my count reaches one hundred.
Reply to this Over sixty, but I'm 53 yo! Every continent except Antarctica. I've lived and worked overseas. You have to be a traveller rather than a tourist, just ticking/checking off places (tomorrow must be Belgium!). nad which of the 60 plus countries were the "best" (whatever that means)?......
Reply to this 34 "territories" and counting...lived in 6 of them so far (the current one being China) and ready for a lot more ! Agree with Row, it is not so much about being a tourist but more about being a full time traveller, leaving and working abroad and getting to understand the place you live in...
Reply to this Update upto 20 countrys now...... i think i have a way to go before i beat ellen.....lol
Reply to this 68...or not really sure, but it's everything between 65 to 70...not really important! What is is what you lived! And maybe...the help you gave some to get up a little from their boring lives...at the end, we live only once...it may last 100 years...we are not here to compare each other...just to learn from each others...Have fun!
Reply to this > 65 to 70...not really important!
Like age 😉 - but most of us still count birthdays!
Reply to this Aw I haven't been to that many at all...at most 6 or 7 countries including the USA. LOL.

Reply to this And to think George Bush only had one stamp in his passport before he became President!!
Reply to this I've been to 25. My husband and I have a target of doing 35 by the time we are 35 and then 45 by the time we are 45 etc - just pushes us to get off our butts! We have just returned from Istanbul - its magical... my blog should be up soon...
Reply to this Ok - I think its 19 if each of the countries of the UK count, i.e. Scotland, England, Wales, N.Ireland????? - I think they should count as separate countries visited as they all have their own identity, history, languages, food - although english is obviously spoken everywhere mostly as a first language - but try telling some of the northern towns in Wales or the highlands and islands of Scotland - where celtic languages are predominant. Im Scottish and definately feel a deep sense of pride - but also happy and proud to be part of the UK and now live in England.
UK + 8 european countries, Tobago, USA, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Ecuador, India, Ireland.
Reply to this I think I'm at about 20 now. But as I keep arriving in one and staying for months on end, could be a while before it increases much!!
Reply to this I'm up to around 40+ but some of those don't exist anymore or are now more than one country!
Will be adding China, Mongolia and Russia later this year and probably a few European countries next year.
Anyone want to swap a house in the UK for one in Australia for 6-12 months? See my add in the Classifieds.
