Travel agent vs doing it myself as Im going solo to Peru in Nov and thought about going thru Gap adv' but am now am having 2nd thoughts..
.. after reading some feedback from some past clients. Anybody out there dealt with Gap adventures?? or can you recommend another travel company?
Is it easy enough to plan an journey whilst in Peru?

Reply to this Hi Arietta,
Welcome to TravelBlog.
I travelled by myself to Peru - and planned most of it beforehand. This was mostly because the Inca Trail was the main reason I was going, and I didn't want to miss out on the dates I wanted.
I dealt mostly with
Peru Treks who were great, but also used another company for mountain biking.
What activities are you wanting to do over there?
Reply to this Hi Jo
As it will be only a month holiday I was thinking of doing the trail of course & amazon jungle, maybe nazca lines/colca canyon, and lake titicaca.
I will have a look into peru treks thanks for that.
I was unsure if I did my posting right as ive never done this before and appreciate you replying 😊

Reply to this My wife and I took a Tucan Travel tour in Central America a couple of years ago and they were excellent. They offer several tours in South America, specifically in Peru. We just completed our 3 weeks in Peru but didn't consider Tucan Travel because they wouldn't book us old folks for the Inca Trail.
