Hi,
I will spend two weeks in Uppsala during august because of my job nature, I am wondering are there any natural site with rich wild life to spend some time and take some photos?
Thanks.
Reply to this Hi James,
I have three friends who studied (separately) in Uppsala, and each of them has only good things to say about the town. I don't know about nature specifically, but there is bound to be many things to photograph.

Reply to this Hi, this part of Sweden is pretty much developed for agriculture. However, there are nature reserves nearby as Swedes love to be outdoors. The tourism office in Uppsala has some suggestions, (google!). If you are lucky you may see animals such as elks and deer. If you mean birds there will be places for birdwatching like lakes and swamps as birdwatching is popular in Sweden. If you have access to a car you can go to the coast (about 1 hour drive) to the area Roslagen. Or you can go to the big lake to the South, Malaren. August will be a good time as it will still be Summer. have a nice trip
