Hi Michael,

Liliram hasn't yet been a member for 2 years, so doesn't qualify this time round - when we open them up again for TB's birthday next year she'll qualify 😊 Reply to this

Alan and Donna - They have travelled enough, to produce 126 blogs, but still need help with scratching their itchy feet. Reply to this

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the nomination. I frankly feel very very inadequate in the company of TravelBloggers I so admire. Compared to them, my adventures look like child's play.

I have yet to get back to my "old normal" of reading, reviewing blogs on this site. I should really put in more nominations before the deadline ( pressure, pressure....) but let me just say that I truly enjoy this site and thankful for the many friends i have gained here. 😊 Reply to this

Has The Nomad been nominated yet? Reply to this

I think he's been nominated already but Ed Vallance would definately be another one for the list from us...

His blogs really make you fee like you were there with him living through his adventures and make for the most intersting and amusing reading. Reply to this

Thanks for the nomination Michael and Faye, we are surprised and pleased to be included with some of the great bloggers mentioned so far.

If anyone is wondering what the biggest adventure of our lives so far is, travelbug junior is on its way. We already have travel plans for it, so lets hope it enjoys being on the road as much as us! Reply to this

Many Congratulations... I did see your countdown and wonder what your biggest adventure was going to be, especially considering some of your previous ones have been pretty epic. 😊

I love the 'it' as well... just brings back memories of when ours were genderless and nameless... 😉 Reply to this

Hi Zeca,

Favorites of many of us! They're on the list 😊 Reply to this

Wow - so many! I absolutely agree with Weir Travels, but also recommend:

Sooze: a woman who has just spent two years living in Shanghai with two young children. Can't be easy, but her entries were always real and honest and inspiring. Not a backpacker blog, but there are more ways (and ages😊!) to travel.

Can't believe I failed to nominate my favorite JonathanCampion----- I simply assumed he was already up there in the list. Jon writes beautifully, with much attention to interesting details that his narratives put one right in the middle of every situation he is in. How did I miss nominating him?

Also The Open Road --- not actively traveling of late, but there is a "freshness" in the travel stories they tell. It is a joy reading their blogs.

Not all of us can afford to be on the road for a long time. Those who can only manage weekend trips or short holidays would do well to be reading the blogs of Keith and Pete.

Her blogs on her adventures around South America are quite comprehensive and may well serve as a travel guide for many planning to visit that continent. I also nominate ciotog og and wish she would start writing again!

Another couple-bloggers among my favorites is Chris Anna. This young couple tells it like it is, and worth following as they aspire to cover the entire world. With youth on their side, they can do it twice over. And that's twice over the fun of reading them.

Mark and Marias Great Adventure I love the English-Spanish blogs, plus who else has an entry on their wedding on a glacier in NZ?

I think most of my favourites have already been nominated, but I'd like to add Omega and Sean and Shannon. Both of these bloggers have great photos, and great descriptions and stories to go with them.

One of the things I like best about Omega in particular is that his blogs about daytrips or weekends away are as good as the ones about his visits to more "exotic" locations. Reply to this

@Jo Trouble

You're right. I simply checked when Jon signed up, forgetting that there is also a minimum number of blogs to be eligible. Well, that could only mean Jon should write more blogs for us to enjoy!
