Somewhere to stay with a 6 and 8 year old girls.
N Posts: 13
Hi looking for general advice about Phi Phi Island.
Was looking to stay somewhere on Phi Phi with wife and 6 and 8 year old girls for about 3 or 4 days around November 16 2010.
We are wanting to have a good look around the island and Maya bay etc, not just sit beside a resort pool, as will have 9 days to do that in phuket.
Having said that my wife would still like a pool and at least a fan.
We don't want a spot that will keep us up all night with party noise, but also due to my young girls don't want a huge walk to get anywhere from our accomodation.
Price of around 8400 Baht maximum.
Any help would be great, even just general infomation.
Thanks. Jamie Reply to this

I went to Phi Phi about 4 years ago but have heard that a lot has changed since then. I from what I remember there was numours hotels and resorts on the main part of the island, where the ferry docks from Phuket, the biggest one I remember seeing was the Phi Phi Hotel, don't remember the price of it though but did have some friends staying there that enjoyed it. It was in the middle of town and did have a pool.
the best advice I can give would be checking out the lonely planet "Thailand's islands and beaches" if you don't want to buy it they should have them in libraries as well for a quick peek to get some advice!
There are also two websites for Phi Phi that might be able to give you some more insight,
and here for another
Hope that helps!!
