Well you should visit Havana and Old Havana, you can also visit Pinar del Rio and Viñales, the house of Polo Montañez, Los baños de San Juan etc, You can also go to some provinces such as Santiago de Cuba or keys like Key Guillermo or Key Coco etc.

Hello Dozey

I did stay 10 days in Cuba. I made a great tour, but afterwards, I though it would have been perfect for 14 days...

So the tour is: La Havana, then Cayo Santa Maria (nice beaches, resorts, and even a strange ship wreck: san pasqual ship wreck).

After a few days of farniente, go to Trinidad (nice colonial city), then Cienfuegos (other nice city). On the way back to La Havana, make a stop in the Bahia des cochinos and visit the Parque Nacional Cienaga de Zapata.

I think this tour combines both nature and culture!

Hi Dozey,

In relation to booking accommodation, from my experience of going there I would advise you to book at least a few days in advance for your initial stay. When you get there you should be able to switch to other accommodation, although possibly not in the more touristy areas like Varadero.

The other question is whether you want to stay in a hotel or in a casa particular. If you decide to stay in a casa in Havana let me know and I can recommend some to you where I have stayed myself, along with contact details and so on. (I do not receive commission from these businesses, by the way!)

Kind regards
