my wife and I are going to join a Contiki tour from 13th Nov for 16 days. We were wondering where would be a good place to stay for the first noght beofre the tour starts. Someplace cheap and good. En-suite that is also near the Royal National Hotel.
Reply to this Hmm bit late for rainman's query - but I stayed in the Imperial Hotel which was one of the recommended hotels by Contiki for 4 nights in May 2004 and it was terrible! The worst value for money hotel in London and the water made me sick! As the Royal National Hotel is owned by the same people - I would be hesitant about staying there too!
