Just thowing this out into the void just in case there happens to be another solo expat or two kicking around Addis looking for the same thing as me: a friend and travel buddy!
I just moved to Addis two weeks ago, getting around is a bit tricky for a solo girl -- looking to meet some other expats to hang out with and maybe take on some cool trips in/outside of the city with!
Also looking for a place to live... if anyone wants to be my hero and had a brilliant suggestion or needs a roommate!!

Here is a thread with a list of upcomming get togethers. I dont know how many TravelBlog members would be going to Addis, but one never knows. We would promote(by putting it on the Front Page, like the one for current upcomming meeting in Australia which is now on the Front Page) the thread for you though, to try to find some. If you do make such a thread, just post here to make sure we see it. 😊

We're planning on traveling to Ethiopia from the 25th March to 11 April. We hope to travel to the Depression and/or the Omo valley. Anyone with any tips? Or would like to join??
