having returned home to the USofA, we haven't any plans for travel abroad in 2010,
so we will "travel" through Travelblog

Don't think we'll be going anyway much in 2010. We're saving for a mobile home to travel around Australia and New Zealand when we retire.

Go to Iceland to visit a friend I met in Peru.
Visit my Czech friend in Valencia, Spain.
Spend two weeks on Antikythira, Greece ringing birds for a conservation project.

Short trip to my home country, Philippines in March. In August, Thailand and Cambodia. And we are still contemplating if we should go back to New York for the holidays or go to place we have never been to, either Hawaii or Guam. Reply to this

Aristeo, between Guam and Hawaii....go to Hawaii....by far more impressive, but try to avoid Honolulu and make your way to one of the other less crowded Islands....they have some amazing places. PS, I've been to both. Reply to this

I love hearing about others' plans to travel. TravelBlog is a wealth of inspiration. As for me, I'm heading back to Korea after more than 2 years away. This time I'll be at a Uni and I'm hoping to post at least a story a month starting in March.

Here's to the dreamers, the doers, and the travelers of the world. To live inspired is to be an inspiration!

Cheers to you all! Reply to this

- Road trip from London to Prague with a friend (covering 6 countries) to haul all my belongings over, in a couple of weeks
- Interrail epic for the summer in planning with my girlfriend: Prague - Budapest - Belgrade - Sofia - Varna - silly amounts of romanian wilderness - Košice - Prague 😊
- Lingering desire to go back to the summit of the Low Tatras and actually climb it this time (which I failed to do last year while right beneath it)
- I guess as fate has had it that by the end of 2010 I will have a scholarly knowledge of the Zlín region
- Wherever my DJ schedule takes me otherwise! Reply to this

I'm going on the Trans-Mongolian railway journey.

I start in Beijing, but firstly transitting in Singapore for 10 hours; enough time to check out the city.

I go to see the Great Wall, then I continue to Mongolia and Russia, crossing Siberia all the way to Europe.

Once I'm in Europe, I'm going to visit plenty of countries. I'll be free roaming. Reply to this

Synnott! If you're going to Norway and Sweden, why not stop by in Finland as well? You can take the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki or Turku and visit our friendly country!

Actually, I haven't read about anyone here on Travelblog who has been to Finland... Don't forget us! 😊

My plans for 2010 are:

Two month bus trip from Cape Town to Nairobi

and after that: the world is my apartment! Who knows where I will find myself!
