I am planning on investing (around £200) in a PDA and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations? Basically I want a small device that I can type onto when I am abroad. Then when I get to an internet cafe I simply upload my writing onto the computer and put it onto travelblog, etc. I am hoping to also write some articles whilst abroad and so find that I would really like to have some form of computer to write them up on.
My best idea at the moment I think is to buy a PDA (for around £150) and also a fold-away keyboard to plug into it so that I can type to my heart's content. This is a lot cheaper and smaller than a laptop.
Has anyone tried this? Does anyone have any better ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
Reply to this Hi Ruth, I am travelling around Europe at the moment, and are using. A blackberry. This is fantastic, has great access to email, internet, sms and many other options like calenda, contacts. I have used many pdas and have found the blackberry far easier to use. Not to mention that this does not require you to rely on a pc to sync emails and or contacts. What I am interested to see is that is you can submit posts via email, rather than logging in with the web console?
