Does anyone have recommendations for Kendwa/Nungwi (we were told Kendwa Rocks or White Sands Beach Hotel any more would be great!), Dar Es Salaam (only one night before we head north to Moshi to climb Kili) and one night in Stonestown. Any help would be great! | Thanks! -Casey Kahawa Kahawa Post Count: 3 Msg: #2 3 days ago, November 18th 2009 | A good place to stay in Dar is Jambo Inn. It is friendly, inexpensive but yet affordable. The only real negative that I know is that it is quite close to a Mosque so that means an early morning wake up from the call to prayer. That is hard to avoid in Dar though. The food at Jambo Inn is good (good Indian selection) but not what I would call a good value. I go two blocks to Chef's Pride, a very popular spot, for some of their great pizza. I can't help you with Zanzibar but I know Moshi since I live there. Send me a message if you need advice for Moshi. | Number of Users: 2 | Number of Posts: 2 | ||||||||||
