Heyy,
I'm going to be in Guatemala in July 2010 working in an animal rescue centre. Anybody else going to be around at this time doing anything similar or in the area? It'd be cool to meet up and speak to others around at this time :)

Hey laura, where are you going to be in guatemala. I will be in sampango on a church missions trip feeding the children. I am so worried about seeing starving animals on the street and not knowing what I can do or who to call. there is a no kill shelter in sampango called aware they really need the help go to there site.. breaks my heart to see the animals.. my passion is to help them. I don;t know if the group I will be with will let me go off to the shelter. but that is what I want to do..good for you helping out. where do you live? I'm in south new Jersey.
