Eastern Europe with kids

 Europe
Topic Type: Suggestion
First trip with kids to Eastern Europe, backpacks and trains if possible. We have friends in Warsaw and in Sofia, and two weeks to see everything in between. Suggestions of "must sees" requested and remember kids like to "do" more than "see".

We are taking a trip this spring to Eastern Europe. We have friends in Warsaw and Sofia and also will have to plug in Istanbul. Traveling with three kids, introducing them to backpacking.

Questions: In two weeks what are the must sees?

Any experiences that were particularly good for kids?

Hi, Hoyers!

How old are your kids? I really enjoyed Budapest (Hungary); it felt safe and there is as much to do there as there is to see.

Hello Hoyers

I have had my eye on going to the following hostel with my 8 year old and my boyfriend, for a while now. It looks like an ideal place to stay with kids, in the Czech Rupublic. I didnt get around to going there yet though.
