You must return Hanoi and catch the night train to Sapa.. It takes around 8 hours to arrive at Lao Cai train station. besides night train, you could have an other option is the night bus, still the same time to the train but the cost is cheaper. If you prefer the airline, Vietnam Airlines offers the line from Hanoi to Dien Bien Phu airport which is 4 hours ride from Sapa. After Halong Bay tour and returned to Hanoi and took the night train to Lao Cai. Our car and guide picked us up, transferred to Sapa town and started our Sapa trekking tour.
