Best method of travelling between the countries and tours

Hey Guys,

Me and a few friends are backpacking around South America from Dec 9 till Jan 30. We will be starting in Argentina and going to Uruguay then Peru. Was just wondering what the best method would be to get to Peru from Brazil. I understand flying is expensive and we refused to get the airpass since we wanted the freedom once we arrived. Does anyone know a good airline who can fly us there for a good price? or where i can find airlines who will do that flight?

Also. Is 5nights/6days in Iquitos staying in a jungle lodge too long? We are currently booking a Peru Tour to see the Amazon & Maccu Picchu but having trouble deciding who to go with. Any suggestions?

Hi Arman,

Welcome to TravelBlog.

Are you wanting to do the Inca Trail, or go direct to MP? If you want to go direct on a day/overnight trip your probably better going independently and just get the train from Cusco.
