I recently got together with Sojourner1208 at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center where the views of the sandstone outcroppings and Pikes Peak are fabulous, especially as the summer storms come across the mountains. William is thinking about making this area his second (or first) home, so we should see more of each other. Next Wednesday we are going to tour the Dinosaur Resource Center in my hometown...I've lived here 9 years and have yet to see it.

Having reviewed the posts for this forum, I realized that our get together with Jo Trouble and Ferdi and Talita during our visit to Auckland, New Zealand was not included. So here is my correction to that oversight. We had a great evening together at a Thai restaurant.

And here's a couple more pictures of our visit with Home and Away and RJT in Sydney in October 2012

Sorry about the focus on the last picture, but I didn't want to leave it out as we had such a fun evening at RJT's apartment

It was great meeting Ezra while he was in D.C. He was enjoying his break from spam busting.

Paul and Sheila silvernomads with Peter/Pierre Maisondubonheur In Churchill, Manitoba, Canada visiting the Polar Bears. I wonder if this was planned or a coincidence. I like coincidences...there may be other TBers around you as you travel to such exotic locations, and you never know it! Too bad they missed Crannster, who lives in Churchill, but was in Greenland and Iceland at the time.

Great pic and so happy to see it! Been slightly busy the last few days, so may actually not have been happy to spot it. And when I think we shared 5 days of adventures without even mentioning TB...but as you can see...TB members find themselves...as we spent a big part of our time together! Great to have met Paul and Sheila! It's a small world! Reply to this

Yesterday, on the way to picking up my son at DIA, I spent a pleasant afternoon sharing travel stories with
Kari12 in Fort Collins, where my daughter lives. This was our first long awaited get together. There will be more.
