Hello, I am in Vietnam for the Lunar new year 2010 and am wondering what exactly happens during this time? Is it celebrated with partying or is there no alcohol served during this period? I think I may be in Nha Trang when it is on. Any information is most welcome. Thanks. Mac Reply to this

It's called Tet here. Look it up on the internet. It's a big deal. Most people are on holiday. But there is alcohol everywhere. No frets on that front.

It's an interesting time here......
