Just wondering how many days I should allow in Vang Vieng for tubing? And also Laos in general? Also, hows the Nam Song usually flow in mid February? Any information on Laos is most welcome! Cheers, RM. I dont think there is a set amount of time that a person should spend in any particular country. There is a typical loop over the Thai border at Chiang Kong and down the Mekong to Luang Prabang and then by bus to Vientiene via Vang Vieng. We did this route in a week. We were short on time so we didn't visit other places. We are hoping go to some more places next year. You can go up further North, and then down further South. So how long you spend depends on where you want to visit. Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 3 | |||||||||||
