My girlfriend and I are going to Ecuador from January 3 - January 16, 2010, and we're both grad students so as you can imagine our budget is rather tight. Can anyone provide leads to agencies they have used in the past in Ecuador for travels to the Galapagos Islands? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We already book our flights to the Island, which can be altered to fit our schedule.

Try Dreamkapture Travel in Guayaquil. They have a hostel too. I stayed there in July and got a "cheap" last minute deal for the Galapagos.... Reply to this

The staff all speak English so it isn't a problem. I can't remember off the top of my head what I paid for the cruise I'm afraid. I went on a four day three night cruise. Reply to this
