I would like to know what your shopping paradise look like. because I would like to know your opinions about the character of the best shopping spot in the world.

For me, Hong kong is one of a kind because the atmosphere is superb and the price is so cheap. Also Bangkok, it has almost the same character as Hong kong except traffic jam.

So, what about yours. What does its character look like.

I come from Manila , where stuff really go cheap. When traveling in HK and Bangkok, I often compare prices with our local prices. Often, I find our prices cheaper. Not so in Shanghai and Shenzhen, China. In Shanghai, shopping is a must. But one has to be prepared to haggle like crazy. After about 3 purchases, you get the hang of it and should be able to haggle more confidently!

Hello Teya

I like when there is a variety of shop types, with good prices and also the types of luxury good I am willing to pay more for.

Most important is that there is a place to relax. Ideally this would be a cafe with a nice view. An example of this would be the Dome cafe in the Stephens Green Shopping centre in Dublin, Ireland. It is at the top of the shopping centre and has a great view of Stephens Green. There is a small picure of it in the following link. Dome Restaurant

I also love the outdoor Viktualian market in Munich, Germany. It is a great place to hang out anytime. It is particularly pretty at times like Christmas. Viktualian Markt

And there are lots more that I love around the world. I will post more of them later.

Las Vegas, New York and Hong Kong and obviously Buenos Aires when it does come to clothing...

For furniture, Shanghai is a paradis....huge choices....and great prices...

When it come to home decoration, Bangkok is a paradise...oh, yes, we just moved into paradise and I like it so much...

And for food, I love the fresh food in New Zealand....even the smaller supermarkets have an amazing choice...
