cand26 candice Post Count: 2 Msg: #1 75 days ago, September 7th 2009 | Hi, | I am looking for the best tour company for Kenya/Tanzania, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ideally looking for a small group but not necessary. Thanks so much juliemartel Julie Martel Post Count: 3 Msg: #2 75 days ago, September 7th 2009 | Hey Cand26, | I just came back from Tanzania last month, I was there for about a year working. I traveled alot around East Africa, including Kenya. I would strongly suggest concentrating your travels on Tanzania. Kenya has had a lot of political instability lately and Tanzania is just so much more convenient for doing any safaris or Kili climbs. <snip> [Edited: 10:58 - Mell ] Pat1970 Patrick Ashworth Post Count: 1 Msg: #3 69 days ago, September 13th 2009 | Hello | I can recommend Africa Expeditions. <snip> <snip> Good luck! There are some great values in some of the smaller companies where some talented people have taken off on their own after working for the big guys, they just don't have the marketing money. Three that I can think if right now that I would highly recommend are: Gombe Expeditions, Hotsun Safaris and Bryson Adventures. Safari njema. As mentioned above they dont spend heaps on marketing but they are extremely reliable and offer a great service at good price. They can also link you with other travellers which keeps your safari as cheap as possible. Goodluck. It would be wise to accept information from established members only, who are obvious travellers, rather than ones who are only here to advertise. They are not always reputable.
