Hey Cand26,
I just came back from Tanzania last month, I was there for about a year working. I traveled alot around East Africa, including Kenya. I would strongly suggest concentrating your travels on Tanzania. Kenya has had a lot of political instability lately and Tanzania is just so much more convenient for doing any safaris or Kili climbs.

Hi cand26,
i was on safari in tanzania,kenya and Zanzibar respectively, it was the most adventurous camping safari, we used, they planned everything for us. it was just me and my fiancee, the best place of all was Kenya esp Masai mara,
About the political unrest.............everything is back to normal, paul our guide told us that it has been a year and a half since the political unrest. we plan on going back to kenya for our honey moon,

I am an American who has been living in Moshi for the past 2 years. There are some great values in some of the smaller companies where some talented people have taken off on their own after working for the big guys, they just don't have the marketing money. Three that I can think if right now that I would highly recommend are: Gombe Expeditions, Hotsun Safaris and Bryson Adventures. Safari njema. Reply to this

I can highly reccommend African Scenic Safaris. As mentioned above they dont spend heaps on marketing but they are extremely reliable and offer a great service at good price. They can also link you with other travellers which keeps your safari as cheap as possible.
