BobinOZ from one Aussie to another we have a wonderful country but my dreams at the moment are to explore the Baltic States and go back to beautiful St Petersburg. I can't wait to find treasures in Latvia and Estonia.

In Oz of course the best city is SYDNEY. Reply to this

I used to have a theory that the best cities all began with a 'B'

Berlin - amazing sub-culture in the East after the wall came down
Barcelona - architecture, nightlife, beaches.
Bangkok - the buzzing hub of Asia
Brighton - like an English Barcelona but with fish&chips.
Big Apple - come on, play along with me here...

but i'm not so sure any more - Berlin has lost its edge and become a bit pompous, my friends got robbed 3 times in 3 days in Barcelona, and London just never stops impressing me even though I live there!

i guess its not the place, its the people. Reply to this

Hanoi - Vietnam capital - is good city too.
I lived in Hanoi for longtime but my native is in another dictrict. Every body here is friendly, crowd street and so many places to go, to visit. The price is cheap. In 2010, Hanoi has great festival : hanoi capital with 1000 years old. I think around the world, not too many cities has 1000 years old.
Welcome to Vietnam. Reply to this
