Hi Efraim,

Cambodia, Laos AND Vietnam in 20 days? Wow! That's a lot. These are big countries with a lot to see. Where you go depends on what you want to see. What really interests you? Temples, jungle, beaches, cities.....

Which city do you arrive into? Where is your starting point?

I would suggest that you narrow it down to one or two of those countries in that time. Either start in Laos and North Vietnam, or Cambodia and South Vietnam.

Option 1: Laos: look at Luang Prabang - lovely quiet city on the Mekong, Vang Vienh - tubing on the river, beautifulo scenery and seeing caves and Vientiene - small capital city and chilling by the Mekong. Then cross into Vietnam and see Hanoi - wander around the Old Quarter and see some museums and maybe the water puppet show, do an overnight boat trip on Halong Bay and stop over on Cat Ba for trekking in the National Park, perhaps take a trip to Sapa - mountains and hill tribes. Then down to either Hue - an old capital with old temples, or Hoi An - lovely riverside town with beautiful buildings, tailors and beaches.

Option 2: Cambodia: a couple of days seeing the temples around Siem Reap (Angkor Wat and the others), Phnom Penh, perhaps some beach time in Sihanoukville. Cross from Phnom Penh to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). A couple of days seeing the city, trip to the Cu Chi tunnels and a trip to the Mekong River Delta floating villages. Some beach time in Mui Ne or Nha Trang and maybe a trip to the mountains in Dalat.

Travelling around can be done by bus, train or, since you are short on time, flying. Jetstar Asia and Air Asia do budget flights between a lot of those places.

If you really want to do all three in 20 days you need to pick exactly what you want to see and fly between them. But it will be more expensive and you won't see as much as if you narrow it down.

Just a suggestion anyway.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

For the Indochina Tour, you can start in Laos to North Vietnam and then to Cambodia. or Beginning in North Vietnam, to Laos and end of tour in Cambodia.

You also travel in South Vietnam first, and then to Cambodia, Laos

i would suggest you to allocated your time to Thailand 10 Days Vietnam and Cambodia 5 Days Each. In Thailand you can Spend your time to Phuket.Krabi and Pattaya if you are Sea Lover. if you are Cultural Lover i would suggest you to travel Bangkok,Ayutthaya and Chiang Mai. In Cambodia You can spend 5 Days Such as Siam Reap, Phnom Penh Combined with Angkor Wat and the remaining 5 Days Can Cover to Vietnam Such as Hanoi,Hoian and Ho Chin Min City
