If you fancy teaching in Asia you can get recruited from abroad for year long contracts. They will pay your airfare for Korea for example. You can get similar deals for Taiwan and Japan. You could go out there, save some money and then travel from there. Have you looked on daves esl cafe and Tefl.com They might be some help in showing you what sort of thing is available. Do you have a degree? They do require one for these jobs. There will be teaching jobs in other countries too but you will have to pay for your own flights and setting yourself up so it will cost more than $300. Asia is the bigger payer for a newbie teacher. For Europe you need an EU passport and it doesn't pay well. South America doesn't pay well either but would be good for the experience. There are many blogs on here from teachers in various countries. Do a search for teaching english on the search function and they will come up. Hope this helps Kate Mell Mell Post Count: 14464 Msg: #3 17 weeks ago, August 14th 2009 | Welcome to TravelBlog Kevin | In respone to your private message, I think Kate has answered it all. :) Mel Mell Mell Post Count: 14464 Msg: #4 17 weeks ago, August 14th 2009 | Here is something which may interest you.
