| I'm heading to New Zealand from Ireland in november and will be spending xmas in Asia and hopefully new years in Sydney? where in asia is the best pace to spend Christmas eve/day. I'm looking to spend december in asia and new years in sydney if possible, just looking for suggestions as to where to spend xmas eve/ day in asia?? If you want to be where others who will be celebrating Christmas and New Years are in Asia, then places to choose would be ones like the Khao San Road Bangkok Thailand, Koh Pha Ngan Thailand, Goa India. But, if you are not looking for celebrations then just about anywhere in Asia is OK, because there wont be much sign of Christmas in most parts and everything wont close for 2 weeks.
