Honk Kong to Vietnam or Philipines by ferry

Hi, I'm on my way down to Guanzhou and I'm looking for info to travel by ferry from HK to Vietnam or Phillipines, not sure yet. Does anyone travel from HK to any of thoose countries? thanks

If it does help I think trains are the best way to go. There is a train from Hong Kong to capital of Vietnam and you can tak it overnight

I do not think there is a ferry from Hong Kong to Vietnam. Maybe it is a cruise, not a ferry. If you want to go to Vietnam in simpler way, please take the ferry from Hong kong to Gouangzhou then bus from Guangzhou to Nanning then take the bus to Hanoi via Pingxiang (China), Lang Son (Vietnam). The distance from border to Hanoi is just 180 km.
