Cost of living in Gloucestershire, UK
How much should I expect to pay?

Hi all,
Me and two other friends are planning on playing cricket for a club in Gloucestershire for two months next year (we're Australian). Taking into account the state of England's economy at present etc etc, how much money do you think we would need to live? Also, anyone got any ideas as to where we could stay? I've talked to people at the Royal Agricultural College, who told me for the three of us to board there for 8 weeks would cost £4200 (£175 p/person p/week). Is this what we should expect to be paying?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Anthony,
Yes the cost of living is high in the UK but I find 4 200 pounds for the 8 weeks a little high. Why not try looking at renting something for a couple of months as there are three of you.

I too consider that price quite high. Many people let out rooms on short term leases for £50 or so a week. You should be able to get a whole place for the 3 of you for less than £250 a week. Although this may be more complicated requiring bonds and such.
