Can anyone recommend an affordable accommodation on Kecil? Is it possible to book ahead of time or ok to show up (dates will be Aug 8-15). Thank you!

Hey,

You should be good to just show up. We went to kecil in Feb and it was really quiet, every place had rooms although it was off season so not sure if it will be busier now.

If you go to coral beach as opposed to long beach as we did (it's quieter, prettier and less rowdy) then you will get off the jetty at the far left of the beach. The first place you come to is called something like suriaja and is really nice if you can get a good deal. If not there are plently of cheaper beach bungalows dotted around. Some of our friends stayed in them and they were fine.

Hello Pamela;

Me and my friends faced a problem when we went to Perhantian Kecil .. we were unable to find a cheap accomendation ,, it was all fully booked. At the end we took a room in the only hotel there and it cost around 45 - 50 USD. Anyway I think that time was an exceptional maybe, if u face any problems with rooms, just take the waster taxi to Perhantian Besar, only near by.
